There are two striking things about James Barkman that made me want to have him on the Photography Roundtable Podcast.
- He shoots film (and thinks you should too)
- He lives out of his van (by choice, not necessity)
I knew that James was going to be a great interview with a lot of great insight into what photography is culturally right now because he’s a very chill guy. If you aim to shoot a lot of lifestyle and adventure photography with some documentary styles thrown in this is going to be a very beneficial podcast for you to listen to.
Everything James talks about in this episode is going to make you a more thoughtful photographer. And honestly, we need more of those.
