I first contacted Sean Bagshaw to come on the Photography Roundtable Podcast in August. He was very quick to reply, which I always appreciate, but he was also very busy! So, I made a note in my planner to email him again when December rolled around, and he was gracious enough to come on the podcast and talk some landscape and stock photography, teaching, and social media (as you can see, we went in about 5 different directions).
I will admit, when I started talking with Sean before the interview I was extremely tired. However, when I listened to how energetic Sean was about talking photography, I immediately perked up and got excited about what he had to say.
There’s no doubt that landscape photography can be difficult and time consuming. Not only do you have to be consistent about shooting various locations and being present during amazing light, but you also have to manage multiple social platforms if you’re running a business. Sean Bagshaw is a master of both. He is able to position himself in front of some amazing scenes while building a strong business to support his work. You are about to learn so much about multiple subjects of photography, so grab a pen and take some notes!
