I’ve been following Hubert Matsuda for a long time now. Actually, I’ve been following him since he asked me to critique his Instagram feed.
After seeing his Instagram, I emailed him back to say that he didn’t need my help.
Hubert and I have had a few comments back and forth since that original introduction, but I had never had a good sit down conversation with him.
So, naturally I asked him to come on the podcast and talk to us about photography in Hawaii and some of the things he is doing and working on.
Hubert Matsuda was extremely hospitable and helpful when we were scheduling our interview. He was especially kind when a storm knocked out my internet and I had to record the episode from a Starbucks parking lot! The show must go on!
